This day was genuinely difficult to do a summary for, as a lot happened and there are quite a few shoutouts. If you thought 30 was bad at getting grim though, wait until you see Day 31.

Tornado Aftermath:
- All students & other residents learn the EBS will go off at 1pm again.
- Heavy damage to South Chinatown and Petersburg District were revealed.

Nope, One Wasn't Enough:
- After another EBS Warning, another Tornado strikes and the Academy is hit by some of it. Thankfully only the courtyard was damaged.
- Brie's shown fighting off the Mage, starting off by using Throw Arrow with Charlota's style. She defeats him using Rarabon's Raraminate Counter followed by throwing the Wing Calibur to cut off the guy's hand. This would force the guy to retreat.
- Eventually she'd use Shining Wing Calibur to destroy all the remaining traps.
- The cool part is Mimrik would use what's left of South Chinatown to build HIS EMPIRE a good hut to live in and (possibly) start on his work.

Why McDaniels Wants Mei-Liong Dead:
- Mei-Liong reads the Principal's reason for wanting her dead: "Their inheiritance is mine"
- Then we're treated to a flashback revealing the Principal used to work for her father, Mr. Xiang while he still had the Bank of Poikittie. After firing McDaniels, Mr. Xiang himself was murdered a year after the Bank of Poikittie declared Chapter 11. A young Mei-Liong (about 7 years old) was shown here.
- This drives Mei-Liong nuts, especially since this proves that she was considered expendable from the very beginning.
- Etsuko shows up to convince her she isn't alone. Mei-Liong tells her that unfortunately her death is fate, and not a whole lot of people realize how serious of a threat the Principal's own money is. After repeated attempts by Etsu to snap her out of it, Mei-Liong tells Etsu that she's gathering what few Blue Wings are left and will stop the advance meant for tomorrow.
- Etsu wonders how she can stop this from happening...knowing Cloral and Mei-Liong are in serious danger if the Via Com are involved.

The 3rd Years turn on Cloral:
- What started out as a typical conversation got really bad when Luna and Setsuna bring up the bounties. Cloral thinks they're plotting against her.
- Johnny calls her out again, calling her an egoistical brat and mentioning anyone is expendable in this setting. Cloral calls him an idiot, Johnny counters by calling her a hypocrite and tells her to go handle her crap alone; he then recommends nobody else helps her either.
- As Cloral thinks he's the only one with that opinion, Yuuri actually believes he's right and goes back to her floor. Eventually even Lilith heads upstairs.
- Galen tells Cloral that she probably won't stay mad for long. Cloral heads upstairs to find Lilith, saying that if Galen gets her in trouble he's dead. Galen calls her narrow-minded as she heads back up.

Lilith & Cloral:
The former didn't really stay mad for long, did she?
- The latter confesses their love for the former. Anxo's so not gonna like it when he gets back. XD
- Also, Lilith dances for Cloral.

The Principal's cronies and Via Com:
- The Principal tells Monroe to not use mechs, and instead prepare the Via Com.
- He tells Monroe to tell them to use only Silver Bullets. If those don't work, resort to roadside bombs, grenade launchers, and smoke bombs.
- If that also fails, follow through with unconventional tactics.
- The Principal tells Anakin to prepare Rysir's Mulay Doll. Then he tells Sora to contact News Media Corp. Then he tells Cyrano to accompany the Via Com...Ursula to provide back up by hurling Thundaga from afar.
- The final bit is a guy named Orkin sending a 1st year to the gas chambers, and getting them killed off that way.

Important:
- The bit where Brie attempts to stop the Mage in time will be further expanded @ Overload later today, a good chunk of the fighting was left out (among other things that led her to find the Mage).
-- Only 4 traps were left when Brie was shown fighting the mage. Keep this in mind when that scenario is expanded in Overload.
- Niko, Claudine, and Yui have a bit that will also be expanded in Overload as well.
- A lot of the 3rd years are beginning to think Cloral's just all talk and wonder how she can handle a threat on her own.
- Mei-Liong can die during the next day. If you don't want this to happen, keep a very close eye on her.
- The Via Com are the toughest folks you gotta deal with before the EPIC First. Keep this in mind.
-- Made worse when you realize Cyrano's gonna be with them.

Shoutouts/Refs:
- Weather Channel? Did the guy who delivered a message mention THE WEATHER CHANNEL?!
- Hurricane or Windstorm? Even Ihmeteko has trouble with the localization of Gen V Pokémon!
- Brie throwing the Wing Calibur to defeat someone is similar to what Geki did to beat Burai in Zyuranger by throwing the Dino Strike Sword. The MMPR version of this (Jason throwing Power Sword to beat Tommy) also applies.
- Hard to pin it on just one scenario, but yeah Mei-Liong's basically taking some ex-Blue Wings and herself on a suicide mission against the Via Com.
Many Music Shoutouts For this Entire Run:
- Kanashiki Meizou (Choujin Sentai Jetman, can't give a link as Toei nuked it off YT) plays as Yuuri goes back to her floor.
- Galen's listening to this
- This plays when Mei-Liong's in deep thought. Her thoughts even reveal some of the translated lyrics:
"When you've become tired from trying so hard...look to the sky when you're about to cry..."
- Lilith dances to this for Cloral.
- Kokuu, Hisoyaka Ni from Choujin Sentai Jetman plays when the Principal scene is revealed.
The Via Com themselves are sort of a double shoutout:
- To the Vietcong.
- To the actual Viacom company.
- AK-74s are real life weapons that are stronger than AK-47s!
- MTV?! MUSIC VIDEOS? Whoamg back in the 80s that actually happened. Now? LOL WAT.
- News Media Corp.? No wonder the Academy gets a bad rap, people actually watch Faux News there!
Nearly all of the Principal's cronies are just similar to existing chars in name only...except for one:
- Ursula is based exactly off the Black Fang member herself, even being advised to abuse a long range spell much like the one Ursula tries to kill you with in Chapter 26x of that game (BOLTING).
- McDaniels wanting the Bank of Poikittie to tell lies to cover up their bad situation? Why does that sound like almost every big bank that needed a bailout?!
- McDaniels? Gas chambers? He's no better than Nazi Germany!!
- The Ref Commentary at the very end of it is a shoutout: "What awaits our students...behind the Door of Destiny?"
- FE: Genealogy of the Holy War Chapter 5's title is The Door of Destiny. This is also the name of a massive scenario in the upcoming Day 31.
- Its a full moon...just like on Day 3. Yup when you thought things were already bad they just got worse!

WTH?!:
- HTH DID IHMETEKO NOT RESPOND TO THE EBS HERSELF?
-- Earplugs. Also she could've simply teleported to safety.
- Why does Mei-Liong have a risk of dying?
-- It wouldn't be a game if I avoided killing major characters.
- Who are the only 3rd years who didn't just turn on Cloral?
-- Lilith's probably the only confirmed one. We never saw Nanako give her opinion on Johnny's outburst, nor saw Ihmeteko give her opinion either. Most others refuse to help her now.
