Day 42 Beginning (EPIC First's Conclusion)

poicityWell compared to Day 41, this was a lot better! Here we go!!
In the Beginning...:
- A news report about Rysir's manifestation and Anakin advancing towards the Academy shows up, alarming near everyone in the dorms.
- A total idiot breaks the RA PC monitor so Yuuri is forced to kick them out and replace the monitor.
- The couches fall apart, sooooo...Ihme goes to get new ones after its revealed they were made in China.
- Anxo is shown visibly flinching as he realizes that Rysir's destroying parts of the city.
Winning Back the Power Supply:
- Brie, Rai, and RaZE would get the power company's priorities straightened out by taking out most of the corrupt folks who worked there. Teamup attacks with Kaine and Kikyo, Keiko and Prelude, as well as Kimiko and Nigel were utilized.
Rysir's Downfall:
- Anxo shimmers after Rysir as the two engage in combat. Anakin on the other hand is stuck fighting Knight Taker.
- Taking advantage of Anakin's pretty lousy skill level, Knight Taker quite easily takes him out and sets him ablaze; rendering him unable to fight.
- Cloral, Setsuna, and Konata show up to take out the mooks...and with Knight Taker's help the job is pretty easy.
- Although Anxo defeats Rysir, he changes colors in the process and loses it (not to the point of going completely crazy though) so he won't be the same for a week.
Aftermath:
- Anxo texts Rai for help.
- Claudine brings the scroll and pendant to RaZE for her to identify, with very shocking results (a trap scan spell and a "Saber" skill: Chloro Aura).
Important:
- In case you didn't know, this day is supposed to feature no less than 7 songs by Megumi Hayashibara. We only got 2 in the first section, so the next one will have the remaining 5.
- Amazingly, this is the first day where no power outage happened and Mina didn't burn any food. Correct me if I'm wrong.
- Levitz Furniture was a Furniture store that existed up until 2008 when they filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.
- Fred Rated was the character Shadoe Stevens played in all The Federated Group commercials that showed in SoCal during the 80s. Cron manages to catch one on TV when helping folks out at his job.
- Being set on Fire in the battle systems meant one move, and you died. :P
- A part not covered in the main summary was the hilarity in which RaZE pointed out Knight Taker's unclear motives. It is true though, he didn't completely specify why he showed up to help the three gals, nor why he showed up during the Rysir manifestation fight later.
- This is the first time all game a digital watch of any kind was shown, and Cron fixed it.
- We now know the Panpan royal family has a crest!
Shoutouts/Refs:
- The fake intro to Day 42 was basically a 180 on Saber Marionette J's setting: Where all women were gone and men had to clone themselves to repopulate. So they had to make feminine androids to cope. The intro flips this entirely:
"In a world...where all men no longer exist because of a great catastrophe"
-- Obviously none of the guys were amused at this.
- Day 42 features a lot of Megumi Hayashibara songs popping up. As a nod to the SMJ shoutout, the OP was Successful Mission by Megumi Hayashibara (which was also SMJ's opening!)
- When Brie was finishing up her run Proof of Myself was playing on her music player. Proof of Myself is none other than Saber Marionette J to X's opening also done by Megumi Hayashibara!
- ARED PURPLE GUY?!
- Levitz?! That was an actual furniture store that existed up until 2008!
- Poikittie Gas and Electric? PG&E?! SOUNDS LIKE WHAT ALL OF NOCAL HAS!! (Pacific Gas and Electric)
- No Randomperson, Anxo was not talking about the St. Louis Cardinals beating the Chicago Cubs, he was talking about Cardinal Magic.
-- Clearly Randomperson was hinting to the ongoing Cardinals–Cubs rivalry!
- Anakin isn't Rezodia, right? RIGHT?!:

-- All too fitting, as Panpan's/Neo Denmark's royal family has a crest, and a very ornate crest at that.
