Well. We can conclude you got Soul Buster and most of the reqs for the Iniala tribute out of the way, but you're not entirely out of the woods on the latter.
Claudine Tries to Open Up In Sadness Continued:
- Arzu asks how long Claudine has been at the academy, and she tells the two that she's been there for two years.
- The convo gets interesting, because both Arzu and Shimuza learn of Claudine's (recent, not THE WHOLE KIT N' KABOODLE) past; which includes her smoking addiction.
- However when she explains how she wasn't always a girl, the two are thrown off since they've never seen magic like that before (since the gem was what turned Claud into Claudine as a guy cannot use the Change gems).
- After the two have their own version of KERNEL PANICS and maybe BLUE SCREENS OF DEATH, Claudine is really horrified since she fears she broke the both of them. So she suggests they change the topic.
- Shimuza finally brings up it would be nice to talk about things that make sense, so of all trivial things Claudine asks them its about their hobbies. Arzu tells Claudine that her favorite hobby is reading, and Shimuza's is battling.
- Claudine brings up that she used to spar with Mina...but she gets further surprised as Shimuza tells Claudine that she has to fight for real a lot, making her realize that she'd probably have more combat experience than most of the staff would believe.
- When Arzu brings up Claudine wouldn't like to spar with her, she jokes around a bit about who should be the "Princess" and the "Bodyguard". Arzu puts on a poker face and points out that she doesn't think royalty is supposed to protect royalty.
- Its around this time Shimuza brings up Arzu can't take a damn twig hit (read: POOR DEFENSE). This makes Claudine realize that someone probably has to look out for Arzu, which Shimuza points out was her job back in her homeworld.
- Well, they would then head downstairs...after Claudine shuts the locket up that is.
WHO THE HELL BUILT THIS THING?!:
- Violet's left leg fails her and starts sparking up, so it requires Talou to show up and fix it.
- Then Violet pays Talou more money in one day than she'd get in a whole month if she was on the school payroll. Damn, Violet.
Disgust In The Sky:
- Mei-Liong briefly interrogates a 15 year old that tried to sneak past the lobby with a 12 pack of Tecate. Then explain why common sense triumphs any of the laws in the city as Konata keeps the containers from hitting the ground.
- Eventually the guy snaps and tries to attack Mei-Liong with a knife, but she simply knocks the guy out.
- Unfortunately Claudine, Arzu, and Shimuza would come in on this scene. Mei-Liong tries to briefly explain why she took action and most other RAs don't bother. Meanwhile her RA partner gets rid of the beer.
- The students would quickly recap some of the earlier academy woes to Arzu and Shimuza. Then they would start to do their own thing...up until Shimuza notices Klahan and DRAGS the guy in.
- This surprises Claudine a bit, as she clearly recognizes the guy (See: Day 64 Beginning)
- Eventually Brie would talk to Konata and the others about the Darion Plague sticking around, much to her dismay (and anyone else researching it.)
Important:
- The teachers make a respectable 4k per month in Poi, but what's the use if you're not on the payroll?
Shoutouts/Refs:
- Kernel Panics? Error messages? All we needed was the OS X Kernel Panic picture!
- Princess with their bodyguard? Hm, we sure see that a lot in nearly every RPG now do we?
- Violet tells a Kai Quesstice poster its all his fault?! OH DEAR I WONDER WHO BUILT MOST OF THE GARBAGE FOR THE TURQUOISE ARC.
- Beam Wheels.
- Tecate? Welp, that's not something a 15 year old should be drinking.
- Drinking alcohol in general is a common problem in more popular universities. Unfortunately when you factor in the way Poikkitie Academy is ran...
- When Galen hits himself, Charitee remarks she didn't bring a Yellow Flute. This is to poke fun at the fact that if a Pokémon is confused, they hit themselves.
- Galen using Assembly?!
- Ramune? Silly Mei-Liong...
- Claudine was reading about the Harmonie Cards Arioso used in Exodus B!
- "
- "Samayoi no Kotoba wa Ten ni Michibikare" from Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni's Visual Novel would play off Charitee's laptop as Brie tries to explain the situation.
- Damn it Brie, first Edgeworth then Sakuya?
"Ergo, if you really want to get involved in this, look before you leap"
WTH?!:
- What the hell would Claudine want to do with a Summoner and a Battle Mage?
-- Sometimes apologizing can lead to odd things happening.
- Wait, if the teachers make a lot then why the hell haven't they added anyone new to payroll?
-- Principal is a dastard. End of story. Rai's actually going to look into the payroll issue in Day 68.
