Day 20 Continued

The Cypress Collapses:
- An Iota Behemoth manifestation creates a Gravity Well, which causes an Earthquake that takes out the Cypress Bridge (and also caused the Earthquake from earlier).
- 170 people were confirmed dead.
- Brie wonders if a Plague Manifestation caused the Earthquake, so she asks Rai for any footage of the Earthquake.
- She gets the footage...and views it...

The Sins of Bias:
- Brie quickly realizes the Iota Behemoth manifestation caused the Earthquake in retort to the power grid plans falling apart yesterday. Being suspicious as ever of Bias' plans.
- She uses Goggle Eye to view what's happening on Mill Island.
- Presto. She finds out Bias answers to the Principal after all...and with that knows where to finally apprehend him.
- Charitee shows up and tells the students what happened to the bridge (considering she's the Guardian of Brisbane and would clearly see what happened.)
- Brie tells Charitee its fine, because she knows precisely where Bias is hiding...so she'll apprehend him.
- Anxo asks Brie if she got footage of them, so Brie sends it to Anxo's laptop via Goggle Eye: Transfer Mode. With that, everyone is able to see Bias answers to the Principal.
- As Claud/Claudine and Niko awaken and resume wandering the city, Kaire Ise attacks them after leaving Yui badly beaten up by her own advances.
- Niko asks why Kaire would want to incriminate her boss, she replies that it would be best for her to just kill the evidence. Then he warns Kaire to not take them lightly.
- Kaire tackles Claudine with crazy speed, flooring her. Niko quickly gets his katana out as Kaire prepares to attack Niko.
- Claudine slices the fire hydrant, causing water to spew everywhere and ruin Kaire's dash...sending her to the ground. Niko then uses Ray of Frost to freeze the water and leave her a sitting duck. Claudine switches to Soul Reign's gun mode and lets Kaire have it.
- Niko blasts Kaire out of the missiles, but she's still intact as she throws a homing Nen Shot at Niko. Yui then tries to attack Kaire, but she simply uses her as a hostage.
- Niko successfully manages to avoid the shot by placing a well timed Utsusemi in the way. Then he throws a Nen Shot back which doesn't do much. Claudine then uses Dividing Soul but gets met by 10 Dopplegangers. It prompts her to dive in and get Yui from Kaire before they all blow up.
- Niko has trouble finding the real Kaire, and he ends up grabbed and Suplexed. Niko has trouble recovering from the Suplex as he tries to get up...oh so slowly.
- In rage, Claudine style changes to Ilmatar generating enough speed to utilize a Double Team as she uses the speed (which is enough to match Kaire) to get behind Kaire and strike her from behind with Aerial Ace, flooring her. However, Claudine's not able to handle the speed of the style and ends up nearly barfing from using it.
- Kaire flees right away, taken off guard by the attack.
- Meanwhile Niko tries to teleport after her...with questionable results (at first).
- At the dorm lobby, Brie would leave right away for Mill Island to apprehend Bias...and so would Anxo. The rest would need to rely on Charitee's own teleportation ability to get over to said island.
- ...Niko would finally get to the island but Tillkallar manifestations start trying to attack him. He busts out one last use of Magic Missile to hit the manifestations but they summon up a new enemy: The Crystal Soldier.
- Thankfully Niko managed to Nen Bullet it, but it manages to hold up as Claudine and Yui manage to catch up; the former unable to keep Ilmatar's style going as it expires.
- Realizing his buddies are beat up (and so is he), he's forced to use one of his most inefficient moves: Kurohi. With his right hand engulfed in gray flames, he punches the soldier...causing it to vanish. It took a lot out of Niko, but they're still under attack.
- The moment Yui's about to solo them, Charitee shows up and hits 4 of them with Rail Stinger. This surprises Niko and he tells the others that they should go in.
- Brie sneaks inside the hideout with Anxo not far behind. Meanwhile Konata and Mina help keep the manifestations under control. But, three of Bias' cronies show up as the Tillkallar manifestations make a strategic retreat back to the gem.
- As Homicidal, Prevarication, and Roudy introduce themselves; the trio (Niko, Claudine, and Yui with Claudine leading) manage to sneak inside the hideout. Roudy thinks to himself just unfair that is, but remarks its fine because the students no longer have their "home advantage" (this is touched up on quite a few times in this run).
- Cloral follows the white petals and appears in between the three cronies. Prevarication freaks and yells out that she has to be killed. Roudy reprimands him and tells him the objective is to kill all, not one. With that, he shoots at all the students.
- Konata forms a Barrier, then hurls a Psycho Cut at Roudy. Roudy manages to dodge the Psycho Cut.
(GM Note: At this point I'm gonna say what takes place Inside or Outside. The reason is this scenario took a long time and did get messy at points.)
[Inside]
- As Niko and the others are inside, Yui takes out a few of the mooks.
- Bias notices Anxo, Niko, Claudine, and Yui are all inside and exclaims in disgust how they're around. Brie hits Bias with a GT Punch.
- Meanwhile, Niko wonders where one of their targets were. Suddenly a manifestation of Nittio shows up and attacks them. Niko reacts with a Quick Draw...but the attempt to block comes off too slow and he's hit.
[Outside]
- Konata fires multiple Psybeams at Roudy, but it just causes him to shoot much faster which forces her to teleport...yet she gets grazed by the shots.
- Konata would then try to break Roudy's gun with a well placed Psychic. Cloral would set her sights on Prevarication and assume here Werewolf form. Prevarication's caught off guard by the werewolf and tries to hit her with his nunchucks. He fails miserably.
[Inside]
- Meanwhile, Yui manages to strike "Nittio" with the Hexdent as Claud/Claudine shoots at it with the Soul Reign and Niko manages yet another use of Kurohi to PAUNCH "Nittio". However, the manifestation would strike Niko with a kick to the stomach. Niko tells Claud to finish it off already.
- The manifestation and Claudine slam their blades into each other, with Claudine being the only one to last as the manifestation explodes. Although Anxo tries to heal up the others, they're still not in the best condition.
[Outside]
- Homicidal goes nuts as he was getting ignored, so he tries to get inside but forgot about the door! So like a total idiot he slams right into it.
- Prevarication tries to strike Cloral, but fails again as Cloral uses her blood to disarm Prevarication...quite literally. (She ripped his arms off!)
- He tries to kick Cloral, but she then tries to bite his head off. It doesn't quite work, but she got his damn eyes.
- Meanwhile Konata breaks Roudy's AK47, but fatigue's starting to kick her butt badly at this point.
- Cloral uses her own blood to give Prevarication a slow painful death by rotting him from the inside.
- Konata just tries a run of the mill Psycho Cut on Roudy, but winds up slicing the guy in half.
- Cloral would head inside the hideout. Meanwhile Homicidal tries to fight Charitee and fails miserably at the job.
- Eventually Homicidal gets a hit in with his switchblade, but Charitee uses Spinning Kick to drill into him. He retorts by stabbing her after throwing her to the ground.
[Inside]
- Brie and Bias start fighting. Not much here, Brie has the upper hand at first but Bias lands a punch.
[Outside]
- Boastful shows up and tries to give folks more trouble, but Charitee turns him into an Anthousai to end the mess.
- Meanwhile Mina and a few other folks would easily pick off the New Rezodia Soldier manifestation reinforcements.
[Inside]
- Niko gets past the Flame trap and finds PLANS.
- Anxo Ruby Nukes past mooks.
- Meanwhile Brie shoots Bias point blank after grabbing his axe arm. She henshins and firecharges one of her rubies, causing a huge explosion that sends Bias into a wall.
[Outside]
- Charitee forms a Psycho Cut blade of her own and stabs Homicidal with it. He grabs a grenade launcher and prepares to fire.
[Inside]
- Brie style changes to Nyyrikki as she strikes at Bias with the Stalactite. He tries to strike back with the Plague Axe...but Brie breaks his right hand with Counterbreak which forces Bias to use his worse left arm.
- Niko would find the documents and realize Kaire escaped with the Principal.
- Meanwhile Anxo shows up to try and help Brie out, which prompts the latter to scold him a bit. After some talk, she tells Anxo to hit the damn rapier with Emerald so she could pull off an attack. Eventually Anxo would hit the Stalactite with Emerald light which allows Brie to use Full Circle: Yari no Ray on Bias.
- Eventually a stray attack on Cloral by Bias gives Brie enough time to switch to Rarabon, which she utilizes the immediate speed boost for a Rara Red Crash to Bias.
- Anxo tries to trap Bias, but its foiled as Bias dodges...right into a Shining Wing Calibur. With that, Brie finally manages to put him out of business for good. Brie would then retrieve the stolen diamonds and have them sent to their rightful owners.
[Outside]
- Homicidal hits Konata with his bowie knife as her power fails her...or so it first seems.
- Suddenly her power fully awakens, which eventually leads to Homicidal getting cut down with Shining Finger Sword.
- Niko would make off with the stuff indicated below with the help of Yui.
- Many folks were hurt. Although Charitee has the Anthousai heal up the students, most had to be taken to the infirmary.

Blue Wings, Defeated?:
- Kaire beats up all the Blue Wings, pretty much killing all but Mei-Liong and Etsuko.
- Thankfully Rai comes to the rescue as she uses Kikyo's Raijingeki to catch her off guard. Then she switches to Irce and busts out Raijintsurugi and Torron Calibur which nearly knocks Kaire out.
- Kaire threatens her authority, but Rai has no problem whatsoever with killing her right there. When she realizes that, she retreats.
- RaZE shows up, and they engage in some talks up until Mei-Liong asks Etsu to check for pulses.
- Megami manages to heal some of the students, but they still DIE. Thankfully Etsu has a bright idea and has RaZE and her zap the students alive for about a second or so until they can be brought on campus grounds, thus making them susceptible to the "home rule".
- RaZE takes Etsu in for some insane mana training. Later on she talks to Rai about the Change Plague gem and finds out its still intact and in the Principals hands.

The Aftermath:
- Most students who could leave Mill Island quickly did, but Violet, Mina, and Cloral end up stuck.
- So as a result Violet gets smart and takes one of the Principal's abandoned vehicles off the island as their means of transportation off it. Then they go to the mall in Belden.
- Brie tells Amund about it, then he wonders why he didn't get the invite. Galen and Setsuna share this same thought.
- Charitee shows up and random ensues...and a poor student is turned into another Anthousai.


Not really Shoutouts/Refs or WTH?!, but...:
- I actually hesitated a bit before I had Claud/Claudine style change to Ilmatar. This is because some of my anthros are considered Old Shames by me. Sorry to anyone who actually liked most of the non-hybridized ones.
-- At least I did her style some serious justice. I never knew Aerial Ace looked like what it did until I read how the anime described it. In fact I may have made Ilma's style look better than it ever did in all of IPH.
- If Kaire did not get away, there was a strong chance that Kaire could have been killed by Niko and Claudine.
- Ny's Trance required Rya to pull off, as Emerald light is involved. But Anxo made an alright substitute for this.
- Everything Niko dug up in the Mill Island island is going to be very useful for his cause. Watch what he and his buddies do carefully.

Shoutouts/Refs:
- That Nicol-esque pianist plays this again!! (the same 1:30 that's played in nearly every sad scenario so far)
- The upper deck of the Cypress collapsed on the lower deck...this sounds familiar, in a very very bad way
- The scenario The Sins of Bias got its name from a 2007 session of IPH Route B named The Sins of Zenia. Take note the similarities are just in name only.
- Etsuko just had to hint to the fact Space Runaway Ideon ended with the whole universe dying, did she?
- Claudine using unconventional tactics to help Niko and Yui out, such as destroying the fire hydrant to make her slip. In addition, using good enough tactics (a mix of Double Team going into Aerial Ace) to force Kaire to retreat despite Kaire having an average stat advantage of +6. Reminds you of the time in CR when Ciar "beat" Tourne by pinning her to the ground which forced a draw (and was another instance where someone with the stat advantage didn't outright win.)
- When Bias exclaims "Blue units...WHAT?! 4 BLUE UNITS?!" and Brie attacks him is a shoutout to an error in the Power Rangers special Forever Red.
General Venjix: Rangers...WHAT?! 10 RED RANGERS?!
Bias: Blue units...WHAT?! 4 BLUE UNITS?!
-- And in the original, that general couldn't count either. There were 11. :P
- The Nittio manifestation was just flat out funny at the beginning when it tried to attack, hell let me dissect the line carefully:
"Nittio": I'll embrace you...I WANT TO EMBRACE YOU!!! BLACK QUEEN!! *speedily slashes at Niko*
1) Nittio's obsession with taking out Kimi (the one that makes the most sense of these three)
2) Sasuke's main pistol in Crossroads (was named Black Queen)
3) OH SNAP ITS GRAHAM (I WANT TO EMBRACE YOU, GUNDAM!!)
- Speaking of Graham, the way Claudine calls out "Nittio" is the same as how Setsuna called out Graham.
- Konata wins. FATALITY.
- The way Brie finished off Bias was the same exact way she did it in Crossroads (via Rara's Shining Wing Calibur)
- Try Konata pulling a Domon.
- Just the whole talk with RaZE during her intro was hilarious. Poor 4th wall!:
RaZE: Uuuuugh, all this rampant ability use is screwing up the ambient mana. Why don't you all calm down and stop screwing up the environment! It's all so fuzzy and confused now! ><;
Etsuko: It's all a dream
Etsuko: When we wake up, it'll be perfectly fine
Mei-Liong: What're you talking about?
RaZE: If this is a dream, it's a NIGHTMARE! ;_;
Etsuko: Blame the Game Master
Etsuko: We're just doing our job
Mei-Liong: ...
Mei-Liong: Tiara. Stop it
RaZE: All GMs ever do is abuse their power, anyway. :/
- According to Josh, all the administrators of FOA (the game itself, in the RP) sort of abused their powers.
- Charitee, just her again. Apparently her mannerisms can be best compared to Rachel Alucard. Don't make her bored of you.
- The car Violet snatches from the Mill Island Hideout and uses to take Cloral and Mina back into town is a limousine version of a Rolls-Royce Phantom.

WTH?!:
- The flower petals allowed Cloral to teleport?!
